HP’s Elite Dragonfly G2 is the first laptop with a Tile tracke

The 2020 consumer electronics show is in full swing and HP just launched the new Specter x360 and Envy 32 All-In-One – but the company isn’t ready yet. Next up is the lightweight Elite Dragonfly G2, the first laptop with integrated tile tracking. Weighing just 2.2 kilograms (0.99 kilograms), this is an ultra-portable machine that doesn’t cut the power corner.

You may remember that HP released the first generation Elite Dragonfly last fall. But fear not, early adopters; This is not a complete redesign. It is more similar to Generation 1.2 and offers several value added functions

The new feature that stands out the most is the built-in tile tracking tool, so you don’t have to lay tiles outside of your device. Dragonfly G2 will appear in your Tile account along with any other trackers you may have and supports premium features including a signal to notify you if you are leaving Dragonfly. Since this is a partnership between the two brands, future models will most likely receive this feature as well.

Additionally, HP calculates the battery life for 24 hours. You can choose between three 10th generation Intel Core processors – i3, i5 or i7 – with 16GB of RAM. This is a complete laptop processor that fully supports Windows 10 Home or Pro, and you won’t find compatibility issues with apps like the Surface Pro X. It’s also quite eco-friendly as over 82% of the Dragonfly G2’s mechanical parts are built in. made from recycled materials. Additionally, you can upgrade to a computer with 5G connectivity via the Sprint network by mid-2020.

Additionally, the 13.3-inch display can be paired with HP Sure View Reflect Technology, a privacy mode that works whether you’re in bright sunlight or a dark room – a useful feature for those working remotely. It can even use the Dragonfly outdoors in direct sunlight.

The Sure View Reflect display, tile compatibility and 5G connectivity options make the Dragonfly G2 a major contender for mobile laptops. We will release this latest version in the coming weeks.

The latest version of the HP Elite Dragonfly G2 will ship in early February. Orders will be available soon on the company’s online shop.
